Windsock Diam. 60cm OACI/STAC compliant. A medium-sized windsock, it is the OACI standard for helipads and minor airports. Many English-speaking countries also use the 60cm windsock as a standard in their aviation regulations. Outside of aviation, it is commonly used by harbours, hospitals, highways, and in various industries.
Design:
Made from marine-grade fabric, our high quality windsocks are designed to withstand the harshest of weathers and to last long in the most trying of environments. The fabric is treated anti-UV, anti-mould, as well as against tearing. The windsock is fitted with eyelets, making for an easy fitting to a weathervane using zip ties or unto a rope/cable system. The eyelets are made with stainless brass. All seams are doubled. The opening is reinforced with an industrial-grade nylon ring.
